The City of Martin Fire/Rescue Department strives to provide the highest level of professional service to its residents, while creating an atmosphere of community service, and promoting interaction between citizens groups and public safety professionals in the corporate city limits and surrounding coverage area.

Our career department is made up of 29 full-time firefighters and administrative personnel that currently operates out of two stations.  Fire Station 1 is located on Neal Street and Station 2 is located on Ellis Street. We would like to announce the scheduled 2019 opening of Fire Station 3 will be located at 126 University Plaza.

Our Public Protection Classification (PPC) is a 4 (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the best) as by the Insurance Services Office (ISO). This classification is a direct reflection of our community’s fire suppression and control resources and is currently used by numerous insurance companies to calculate individual property insurance premiums.

We consider your family our family.  Whether you are a resident, business owner, or a visitor, our goal is to take care of you as if you were a member of our family.  We would like to offer an invitation for you to visit any of our firehouses.

If I can be of any additional service to you, on behalf of the Fire/Rescue Department, please contact me.
