Serving Since January 3, 2000

Welcome,

The City of Martin Fire/Rescue/EMS is committed to meeting the public’s needs and expectations for quality service. From emergency responses to community outreach, our team strives for excellence in all that we do. We also value the connection between ourselves and our community; we invite organizations partnered with our safety professionals to share their experiences with us, further allowing us to develop strategies that benefit our citizens. Furthermore, we focus on creating a sense of unity among our staff and its population while providing extraordinary care both within the city limits and its surrounding areas.

With 42 full-time professional firefighters, EMT’s, paramedics, and administrative personnel across 3 strategically placed stations, we are always prepared to respond quickly and safely. Station 1 is located on Neal Street, while Station 2 can be found on Ellis Street. Our newest addition, Fire/EMS Station 3 is located within University Plaza – providing essential coverage to a densely populated area. We strive to ensure our members have all the support they need to remain committed to providing superior fire protection and emergency medical services in the community.

Our Public Protection Class (PPC) ranking given by the Insurance Services Office (ISO) is a direct testament to our community’s fire suppression and control capabilities. Currently rated at a 3 on a scale of 1-10, where 1 is the best score possible, this classification provides insurance companies with an accurate measure for determining individual property insurance premiums. Thus, this classification helps provide a basis for making smart decisions both on the insurance company side and on the consumer end.

We strive to make our community members, business owners, and visitors feel at home. To show our commitment to providing an exemplary service, we are offering an open invitation to get a firsthand experience of the great services that our Fire/Rescue/EMS stations provide. Feel free to stop by any of the stations in your area and get the opportunity to witness first-hand how dedicated we are in keeping you safe. We believe in treating you like family and we look forward to having you visit us soon.

It would be my pleasure to provide you with any additional service that you might require from this department. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time if you need further help or assistance; it would be an honor to serve you in the best way I can.

Respectfully,

Jamie Summers
